The Chief Imam for Damongo Muslim community in West Gonja municipal assembly of the Savannah region, Alhaji Mushe Amadu has commended the CEO of Emylink Cluster of businesses in Damongo for remembering and sharing the little he has with Muslims in the area.
Emylink Cluster of businesses deals in Apsonic motors, Aloba, mapuka bikes and spare parts, fridges, TV sets, fans, air-condition and other valuable products.
Imam Amadu expressed gratitude to Emeka Aloh for the donation and offered prayers for him and the business. He said although Emeka is a Christian, seeing the need to donate to Muslim brothers and sisters is a good thing others must emulate most especially, during this holy month of Ramadan.
The CEO of Emylink Cluster of businesses Monday April 19, 2021, donated bags of sugar to over five (5) selected mosques in Damongo to support them for the Ramadan.
Emeka Aloh said it is always joy to support others and giving back to society and called on other traders in Damongo to emulate his good manners by embarking on some corporate social responsibility activities
The Damongo based Nigerian trader said the donation of bags of sugar was not done because he is so rich but because he is giving back to society and believes that his efforts will bring joy to some people especially during this Ramadan period.
” Whatever we do or acquire here is from the people and for the people So we must do our best to give back to them. Since I came here, the people of the area have been good to me so it’s time to give back to society”, he said.
Emylink revealed that he has over the years made similar donations to Muslims during Ramadan and other festive seasons and also, to the Christian community during Christmas and Easter celebrations. He assured that he will continue to make such donations in the coming years with the aim to extend it to cover the whole of Gonjaland or Savannah region.
Giving back to society should not only be done by politicians but everyone who can afford, he opined.
