The Ghana police service have arrested two suspects in connection with the theft at the motorcycle shop belonging to Mr. Emeka Alloh, a Nigerian businessman in Damongo.
The arrests took place near a galamsey community close to Tinga in the Bole District.
Mr. Emeka Alloh, who spoke with Padfm.com.gh expressed his innocence as a hardworking entrepreneur with a clean record in his business.
He emphasized that those who attempt to steal from him will face consequences.
This incident marks the fourth time Mr. Emeka Alloh has faced such thefts, but he has been fortunate in apprehending the culprits each time.
In the early hours of Sunday, during a rainy dawn in Damongo, unidentified individuals forcibly broke into Mr. Emeka Alloh’s motorcycle shop by breaching the building’s walls.
The thieves managed to escape with five brand-new, still-sealed Apsonic motorcycle engines and six Apsonic tricycle “Motorking” tires.
The two suspects are currently in police custody, assisting in the ongoing investigation.
