Sherif Asumah, popularly known as Pororo, has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Constituency Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Damongo Constituency ahead of the party’s upcoming internal elections.
In a message addressed to constituency executives and party faithful, Sherif Asumah described himself as a dedicated and loyal member of the NDC, ready to serve the party with renewed energy, administrative competence, and grassroots experience.
He stated that his decision is driven by a strong conviction to blend the vibrancy of the Zongo community with intellectual rigor to strengthen the NDC’s political project in the constituency.
Sherif recounted his journey within the party, highlighting several roles he has held over the years. He has served as Deputy Branch Communications Officer, substantive Communications Officer, and Branch Secretary for two terms. He has also been a member of the Constituency Communications Team, a Deputy Secretary aspirant, and an active voice for the party on social media platforms.
Sherif’s long-standing commitment to the NDC includes years of grassroots mobilization, financial support, and active participation in party activities at the polling station level. He believes these experiences have equipped him with the administrative skills, attention to detail, and leadership qualities required to manage the affairs of the constituency secretariat effectively.
Outlining his vision, Sherif pledged to promote the digitization of party records to improve accessibility and accountability. He also promised to strengthen member engagement through regular updates and inclusive programs, while enhancing cooperation between polling station executives and constituency and regional leadership.
He assured party members that, if elected, he would uphold the NDC constitution, promote unity, and work tirelessly with all stakeholders to secure victory for the party in the 2028 general elections.
Sherif Asumah concluded by humbly appealing to executives and party faithful in the Damongo Constituency to support his bid, stressing his readiness to serve and contribute meaningfully to the growth and success of the NDC.

Dear Esteemed Executives,
I, Sherrif Asumah (Pororo)a dedicated and loyal member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Damongo Constituency, hereby declare my intent to contest the position of Constituency Secretary in the upcoming internal elections.
My intention is coined out of soothing conviction and belief of the myriad dexterity prowess and blending the vibrancy of “ZONGO”with intellectual rigor which is the current political necessity to enhance the National Democratic congress project in the Damongo constituency.
Throughout my ascent within the party’s ranks I have garnered extensive experience in grassroots politics progressing from Deputy branch communications officer to Substantive communications officer.
Branch secretary for two terms.
Constituency communications team member.
Deputy Secretary Aspirant and social media loud waves for the NDC.
My financial support to the course of our grate party are vain oozing in a broader spectrum of dedication and commitment.
With over decades of active involvement in our great party, including roles as polling station executive, mobilizing youth for party activities among others.
I have demonstrated unwavering commitment to advancing the NDC’s ideology of social democracy, inclusive development, and people empowerment.
My experience in administrative duties, meticulous record-keeping, paying attention to details and grassroots mobilization are key competencies required to lead the secretariat with efficiency, transparency, and strategic focus.
As Secretary, I will effortlessly advance the digitization of party records for seamless access and accountability: Strengthen member engagement via regular updates and inclusive programs and foster a stronger cooperation between polling station executives and party leadership at the constituency and Regional levels to secure a resounding victory.
I will bring flare and tenacity in the discharge of my administrative duties.
I pledge to uphold the NDC constitution, foster unity, selflessness,pragmatism,leadership and work assidiously towards triumph in the upcoming 2028 general elections.
