A leading member of the New Patriotic Party in the Savannah Region, Seidu Ayuba, has officially announced his intention to contest for the position of Regional Secretary of the party.
In a statement addressed to party faithful, Ayuba said his decision followed careful reflection and extensive consultations with grassroots members, elders, and key stakeholders across the region.

According to him, his ambition is driven by experience, loyalty, and a firm belief that the party must continuously strengthen its internal systems to remain formidable and united.
“I am committed to serving with integrity, enhancing coordination among constituencies, strengthening our communication systems, and promoting unity at all levels of the party,” he stated.
Ayuba highlighted his long-standing involvement in the party, noting that he has served diligently as a Constituency Research Officer before later becoming a Constituency Secretary. Through these roles, he said he gained significant experience in grassroots mobilization, data management, party administration, and internal coordination.
He explained that these experiences have deepened his understanding of the party’s structures and reinforced his commitment to discipline, transparency, and teamwork within the New Patriotic Party, particularly at the grassroots level.
The aspiring Regional Secretary further emphasized his determination to build efficient administrative structures that will empower party executives, energize grassroots supporters, and position the party for greater electoral success in the Savannah Region.
He also called for unity among party members, stressing that collective effort is key to strengthening the party’s base and maintaining its political relevance.
“Together, we can build a more vibrant, inclusive, proactive, and action-oriented NPP that delivers progress and hope for the good people of Savannah and beyond,” he said.
Ayuba concluded by appealing for the support and prayers of party members as he embarks on his campaign, expressing confidence that unity and cooperation will move the party forward.
He ended his message with the party’s popular slogan: “Long Live the NPP — KUKURUDU! Development in Freedom.”
