According to the leader of the group Sulemana Osman a.k.a Don 1, hon Lawal Tamimu has outperformed all the past DCEs that have led the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba district, hence their call for the president to maintain him for the next four years.
Don 1 said the group and the NPP party cherished the good works of hon Tamimu because he has constructed more schools, health centers, roads, extended street lights to most communities in the district, solar lighting system, construction of toilets, helped expanded the LEAP assistance to the vulnerable in society.
In addition the youth goes on to indicate that the DCE Hon. Lawal Tamimu has performed his duties beyond expectations and hence pleads with government to retain him as the DCE for the district.
