The King and Overlord of the Gonja Traditional Council and President of Savannah Region House of Chiefs, Yagbonwura Tutumba Bore Essa (I) has congratulated some sons of the land on their appointments into various sectors in the country.
The leader of the Gonja Kingdom also expressed gratitude to President Nana Akuffo-Addo for the recognition.
“I have been directed by His Royal Majesty, Yagbonwura Tutumba Bore Essa (I), King and Overlord of Gonja Kingdom and president of Savannah Region House of Chiefs to congratulate the Paramount Chief of Kpembi Traditional Area, His Highness Kpembewura Banbange Ndefoso (IV) for your reappointment as the Board Member for the Ghana Energy Commission.
His Majesty and the House also wish to congratulate Hon Samuel Yeyu Tika, former deputy Savannah regional minister on your appointment as the deputy Chief Executive Officer for the Minerals Commission”, a statement from the Registrar said.
The appointed persons include, Kpembewura Banbange Ndefoso IV (Board Member, Ghana Energy Commission), Hon Samuel Yeyu Tika (Deputy CEO, Minerals Commission), Alhaji Iddrisu Sulemama a.k.a Professor Kalamonia (Board Member, Minerals Commission) and Dr Alhaji Adam Sulemama Achanso (Board Member, Lands Commission).
The Savannah region hope and pray that more sons and daughters of the land will be given opportunity to serve in the government, the statement added.
“It is the fervent hope of the House that, your appointment will contribute to the growth and development of the Savannah Region and mother Ghana”, the statement concluded.
