R. A. Jalil declares intent to contest for the position of Savannah Regional communication officer.

The Deputy savannah regional communications officer for the National Democratic Congress ( NDC ), Mr. Abdulai Abdul Jalilu, known as R. A. Jalil in the polical landscape has disclosed his intentions to contest for the position of Savannah Regional communication officer when the NDC opens nomination in October.

Mr. Jalil made this known to members of the NDC and the public in a statement released on Tuesday, 27th September, 2022 and copied to this source ( padfm.com.gh ).

DECLARATION OF INTENT TO CONTEST FOR THE POSITION OF SAVANNAH REGIONAL COMMUNICATION OFFICER

Good Day Comrades
In relation to the NDC regional elections slated for October, 2022, I, Abdulai Abdul Jalilu aka R.A Jalil (Deputy Communications Officer Savannah Region), upon a sober reflection and wider consultation declares my intention to contest for the position of substantive Regional Communications Officer of Savannah Region.

This has become necessary after my boss Malik Basintale made up his mind to contest for an elevated position of Deputy National Communications Officer-NDC.

I, Abdulai Abdul Jalilu aka R.A Jalil born to one of our 120 founding Members of our great party, Mr R.A Bakari, joined the party at age 18, and has since occupied very important positions at various levels of our party.

My leadership efforts started as the Deputy Secretary to an NDC youth group, formed to mobilise votes for HE John Dramani Mahama during the 2012 elections. I then became a member of the Bole-Bamboi constituency communications team, which subsequently saw me gotten elected as the constituency Deputy Propaganda Secretary (Deputy Communication Officer). I later became the substantive constituency Communications Officer for Bole-Bamboi constituency, and from 2018, being serving the NDC in the capacity as Deputy Regional Communications Officer-Savannah Region.

At the service as Deputy Regional Communications Officer-NDC, I enjoyed a very decent work atmophere under the leadership of Malik Basintale. I had accomodating space to prove my worth as a Deputy Communication Officer, making my next challenge, an obvious formality.

In 2020 and beyond, I led several NDC-Teams to touch base with every single constituency of the savannah region to preach the NDC Gospel.
That hardwork of the Savannah Regional communication department, ensured, the region never misses the headlines in our advocacy for the plight of the people of Savannah Region, which has seen a poignant down turn, ever since the ruling NPP government took power.

Far from self-centeredness, my decision to step up and fill the position of Substantive Regional Communications Officer of the Savannah Region is centered on my purpose driven objective, that is, to consolidate and keep up with the progress chalked by the Basintale-Jalil led NDC Savannah Region Communication Department towards victory 2024.
