The maverick Savannah Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party, Alhaji Iddrisu Sulemana Professor Kalamonia on Saturday 24th September 2022, attended the Maiden awards ceremony organized by the Salaga South Constituency Secretary Hon. Abiola.
The award scheme was organized to reward hardworking, committed, and selfless members of the party, Polling station executives, electoral area Coordinators, Former Executives of the Constituency, Council of Elders, Patrons, and others in the Salaga South Constituency in fulfillment of a campaign promise during his quest for re-election.
The Regional Chairman was flanged by his respected Ag. Women Organizer Madam Fatahia Mohammed, the Regional Nasara Coordinator Mr. Mahey Bamba, Deputy Regional Secretary Mr. Amin Mayoyo, the Regional Director of Research and Elections Mr. Ayatollah Morinho, the Regional Deputy Youth Organizer Mr. Kofi Yaka.
Also in attendance were the Salaga North Constituency executives.
Professor Kalamonia in his speech thanked the executives of Salaga South most especially the Secretary for putting up such a novel initiative of honoring deserving patriots in the Constituency. He again preached unity and assured the constituency of his readiness to use all his energy to help win back the seat devoid of who becomes the Parliamentary candidate on the ticket of the NPP in the Constituency. He further cautioned the executives and the members of the NPP not to take the NDC for granted because of their in-house challenges.
Later in the day, Chairman Kalamonia and his entourage joined the Salaga South Constituency executives to inspect the ongoing rural electrification project that was initiated by the NPP government at Kalampur in the Salaga South Constituency where he assured the Chief and people in the area of government’s commitment to delivering to the admiration of all and called on the people to support the NPP government to deliver on its promises.
Professor Kalamonia further cautioned the people to be aware of the political deceit peddled by NDC and their MP that is bent on crediting all the NPP government initiatives to herself and her party.
The Chief and his subjects expressed their heartfelt appreciation for such a visit and called for more government policies and programs to be extended to him and his people. He further assured them of his support and that of his people since the government is listening and had paid heed to their long-time call for electrification.
