Hajia Safia Mohammed, the Savannah regional Women’s Organizer together with her team is showing gratitude to rank and file of the NPP in the Savannah region for the massive reception and show of love exhibited by party faithfuls during ” touching the base with women ahead of 2024″ regional tour.
Accordin to her the tour was, among other things, meant to have an in-depth engagement with key women groups, opinion leaders, traditional authorities and other key stakeholders within the party in the region.

STATEMENT BY THE SAVANNAH WOMEN’S ORGANIZER OF NPP ON THE JUST ENDED “TOUCHING THE BASE WITH WOMEN AHEAD OF 2024” REGIONAL TOUR
The Savannah Region women’s wing of New Patriotic Party (NPP) wishes to express appreciation to the rank and file of the party for their support during the just ended tour dubbed; “Touching The Base With Women Ahead Of 2024”.
The tour was, among other things, meant to have an in-depth engagement with key women groups, opinion leaders, traditional authorities and other key stakeholders within the party in the region.
It also afforded the team an opportunity to listen and address the concerns of party grassroots especially women, and also engaged them on ways by which they can support the party to deliver on its second-term mandate in order to enhance the party’s chances of breaking the 8-year governance cycle.
The tour under the theme: “Savannah Women on the Move to breaking the 8”, commenced on Friday 11th February, 2022 in the Daboya-Mankarigu constituency and ended on Sunday 13th February, 2022 in the Salaga South constituency with radio interviews.
The theme thus, speaks to our true spirit of uniting the front of women by galvanising their support around a singular effort to breaking the 8 in 2024.
The Women’s wing led by the Savannah regional Women’s Organizer Hajia Safia Mohammed, would like to take the opportunity to show enormous gratitude and appreciation to the Managing Director of Ghana Water Company Limited, Ing. Dr. Clifford Braimah for his magnanimous support before, during and after the tour.
I would also like to extend my profound appreciation to Hon Lydia Alhassan, Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon and 1st Majority Deputy Chief Whip of parliament, Ms Lawuratu Musah-Saaka, National communication Team Member of NPP and the 2nd Vice Chairperson of NPP in the Savannah region, Hajia Zulfawu Amadu and the entire Savannah regional executives who have supported this idea in diverse ways.
Most importantly, I would like to also thank profusely the, the party faithfuls, key women groups, opinion leaders, traditional authorities and other key stakeholders within the party in the region for their cooperation during our visit.
Finally, I wish to commend my team for putting together this brilliant idea. It is our hope that with the support of all we will succeed in all that we wish for ourselves.
We aren’t stopping the fight. Our pursuit is to see the NPP our great party break the 8 in 2024.
The Women’s wing of the great NPP, once again, is grateful for every bit of support and we wish all well as we work towards breaking the 8-year governance cycle.
