MP for Damongo Constituency supports three educational institutions with Food Items at Damongo

The Distinguished Member of Parliament for the Damongo Constituency, Hon Samuel Abu Jinapor has on Friday, 22nd July, 2022 made some huge donations of assorted food items to some three pre-tertiary educational institutions in the Damongo Constituency.

In a short address before handing over the food items to the schools, the constituency Chairman of the NPP, Alhaji Adam Braimah explained that, the gesture by the member of parliament for the area forms part of measures to assist the schools in the feeding of their students and to also make them feel at home so as to create a conducive learning atmosphere for effective teaching and learning.

He used the event to admonish the students to take their studies serious as their Exams is far approaching and added that more of such supports will continue as far as matters of education are of concern to the MP.

The constituency Secretary, Kadiri Abdul-rahaman who was in the company of the chairman on his part said, the future and educational needs of the students were dear to the MPs heart as they formed the cream of professionals to administer affairs of the municipality and the nation as a whole in the not too distant future.

He asked the students to focus on their studies and not allow anything distract them from soaring higher.

The beneficiary institutions include the Damongo Senior High school which received; 20 Bags of Maize , 30 bags of rice, 10 gallons of cooking oil and 2 bulls with Ndewura Jakpa Senior High school receiving 15 bags of maize, 20 bags of rice, 10 gallons of cooking and a bull. and St Anne’s Junior High School received 10 bags of maize, 15 bags of rice, 10 gallons of cooking oil and a bull.

The food Items donated totals 65 bags of rice, 35 bags of maize, 4 bulls, 30 gallons of vegetable cooking oil amongst others.

The students and teachers of the three institutions who were overwhelmed by the Mp’s kind gesture showered praises and prayers for him for his constant support to them and promised their the items for their intended purposes.

The donation was done on behalf of the MP by some Constituency Executives of the NPP led by the Constituency Chairman, the constituency Secretary, the Constituency Organizer, the Nasara coordinator and the Deputy Organizer.
