The Member of Parliament for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency, Hon. Yussif Sulemana (Ori) has redeemed his pledge to the National Association of Gonjaland Students, University of Education Winneba chapter.
The Bole-Bamboi legislature’s Public Relations Officer, Iddisah Tahiru Omega presented a set of Jerseys and a football to the former President of NAGS UEW, Kanyiti Saburu Kantama (Alhaji NABCO) on Wednesday, 8th February, 2023.
The leadership of the association visited Parliament in 2021 to present issues of concern to the Members of Parliament bothering the Gonjaland Students Association on campus and the MP for Bole-Bamboi who is the leader of the Savannah MPs caucus pledge to cater for some of the concerns raised of which Jerseys and football was one.
Mr. Kanyiti Saburu Kantamah On behalf of the current leadership and the entire student populace expressed his heartfelt appreciation to Hon. Yussif Sulemana for the honour done the Association and said it will go a long way to help in the extra curriculum activities of members of the Association.
