Hon. West Gonja Municipal Chief Executive, Musah Kusubari Karim has charged school children in the municipality to take up education and learning activities with the deserved seriousness to help them achieve their objectives in future.
The MCE told basic school children to see him and others as role models and take education serious to take up future leadership roles in the country.
He reminded the school children that education from Kindergarten to SHS is free and they must take full advantage of it to learn hard to make their parents and the country proud.
Musah Kusubari gave the advise whiles on official visit to interact with school children in some selected schools in the West Gonja municipality of the Savannah region on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, to mark 2022 “My First Day at School”.
The MCE, Municipal Education Director (Ake Ferguson), Municipal Coordinating Director (Philemon Ankorley), Municipal Human Resource Manager (Abdulai Mahama), Deputy Municipal Coordinating Director (Denis Osei), Presiding Member (Mohammed Mumuni) and a host of others visited the schools in the Yipala/Nabori electoral area, DASS electoral area, Ngbaripe/Hangaline/Alhassankura electoral area and others to interact and welcome school children back to school.
The Municipal Education Director Ake Ferguson said he was happy and satisfied with the level of attendance of school children and commended school authorities and parents for good job well done.
