Press Release
While we await the smooth start of processes to bring developments, progress, hope and fulfilments to our citizens under this regime and under this term in our municipality, permit me to express my appreciation to all and sundry.
I wish to express my appreciation and gratitude to the Chief and elders of Kpembe Traditional Area, my constituency party elders, Constituency executives and polling stations executives, general public of East Gonja Municipality for your diverse supports and words when I came up to you in solicit of your blessings for nomination as MCE for East Gonja Municipal
In all, it was another beautiful but uneasy move which saw me in a tough and competitive battle for the esteem prerogative eye of His Excellency the President and his Appointing Authority, towards leading the municipality in consolidation of our achievements as a municipality since my assumption of office in 2017 .
Following the release of our newly nominated MCE by His Excellency the President, I have congratulated Hon Richard Broni on his nomination by His Excellency the President as Municipal Chief Executive for East Gonja Municipal.
In going forward, I wish to assure the municipality and all its stakeholders that, as always and characteristic of me, I will keep pushing and supporting courses and adventures which aim at enhancing development, for youth, women and citizens of our dear municipality as and when required.
I wish to urge all who have wished to serve in the municipal as Chief Executive but couldn’t get the nod to burry all disagreements and disaffections and look into the future with good hearts towards supporting the course which will help us progress as a people.
I am firmly of the conviction that, together we can progress, develop and make living better for all citizens of the municipality. We should remain united, peaceful and share developments appropriately when it calls.
We can continue to grow together, irrespective of any difference that may exist. I wish Mr Richard Broni the best of luck and happiness in office as he prepares to lead us. May God bless us all.
Thank you.
Signed
Hon. Mohammed Tamimu, outgoing MCE.
