A Non-governmental Organization, Hope for That Child Foundation, has recently celebrated a decade of commitment to supporting vulnerable children in Daboya, the North Gonja District capital. The milestone event took place at Tarbiat E/A School, with the theme “Nurturing Dreams, Shaping the Future.”

During the ceremony, Siisu Nimatu, CEO of Hope for That Child Foundation, emphasized the importance of supporting child education. She also cautioned the pupils against engaging in substance abuse, highlighting its potential impact on their future.
To further support education in the area, the foundation donated educational materials, including textbooks, mathematics sets, and pens, to 100 students in 16 Junior High Schools across the North Gonja District.
Guest speaker Mr. Abubakari Yahaya urged parents and students to prioritize learning, stressing that every child’s future depends on education.
The Education Director for North Gonja District, Mr. Kofi Odum Apeatse, thanked the Hop for That Child Foundation CEO for her tireless efforts in promoting education in the North Gonja District. He noted the Directorate’s commitment to supporting the organization to succeed.

The program was attended by key stakeholders, including the Queen Mother of the Wasipe Traditional Area, teachers, and parents. This initiative aims to boost educational performance in the North Gonja District.
By providing educational resources and support, Hop for That Child Foundation continues to make a positive impact in the lives of children in the region.
