The Member of Parliament for Damongo and Lands and Natural Resources minister, Hon. Lawyer Samuel Abu Jinapor has visited candidates of the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examinations in the Damongo Constituency to interacted and wish them well in their examinations at their examinations centre.

Hon. Samuel Abu Jinapor who is in the constituency on his usual visitations to the constituency took part of his time to call on the candidates on Friday 19th November, 2021, and used the opportunity to encourage them to finish high by making the West Gonja Municipality one of the best performing Municipalities to come out with best results.

He urged the candidates to have confidence in themselves and put in much efforts in answering their questions to enable them benefit from President Akufo-Addo’s Free Senior High School Education policy which awaits them and that he is confident they will all pass their exams without any hurdles.

The Member of parliament explained that, he is very passionate about their education, a reason he has invested so much in the education of children in the Constituency and will see to it that, each and everyone of them gets into SHS through to colleges and Universities and will want to see the constituency producing lawyers, doctors, lecturers, pharmacists, engineers, ministers like him and Presidents of Ghana in the future.

The Minister has supported this year’s BECE candidates in their preparations with extra classes, common mock examinations, learning materials such as mathematical sets and the provision of busses to aid the transportation and feeding of candidates coming from far communities.

About 906 candidates writing this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examinations in the West Gonja Municipality with 462 males and 444 females from thirty (30) Junior High Schools.

Hon. Abu Jinapor was in the company of the Municipal Chief Executive for West Gonja, Hon. Musah Karim Kusubari, the Regional and Municipal Directors for the Ghana Education Service and some constituency executives of the New patriotic party.
