Former member of parliament for Salaga South and former Savannah Regional Minister, Hon. Salifu Adam Braimah has donated roofing sheets each to some victims of the recent rainstorm in Kumabuye and Massaka.
The rainstorm occurred in the two communities ripping off the roofs of several houses leaving many families vulnerable to the elements but with the timely intervention of Hon. Salifu Adam Braimah has brought relief to the affected families.
Speaking to the media after the donation, Hon. Salifu Adam Braimah expressed his sympathy to the victims and emphasized on the need for more support from individuals and organizations to help them recover from the disaster.
He also called on the government to provide assistance to the affected families, stating that the government has a responsibility to ensure the safety and well-being of its citizens.
The donation by Hon. Salifu Adam Braimah has been commended by the affected families, who expressed their gratitude for his kind gesture and noted that his intervention had come at a time when they needed it the most and also given them hope for a brighter future.
