The president of Busunu Traditional Council Busunuwura Monasa Jonokpawo II has enskinned a royal son of the area as new Kabonyangbitowura. Adam Dange is a popular friend to the Damongo media.
A release by the Secretary to the Busunu Traditional Council Iddrisu Adam Afuli said the ceremony took place at the Busunuwura’s Palace and successful.

In a grand ceremony held yesterday, June 2, 2024, Busunuwura Monasa Jonokpawo II, President of the Busunu Traditional Council, enskinned a new sub chief, Kabonyangbitowura Adam Dange, also known as “Enam Obiso”. The outdooring ceremony took place today, June 3, 2024.
Kabonyangbitowura Adam Dange, a well-respected figure in Damongo Ngbaripe, has been a regular contributor to various radio stations’ programs in Damongo and beyond.
His passion and dedication to his community have earned him a reputation as a leader and a voice for the people.
Busunuwura Monasa Jonokpawo II, in his address, admonished the new sub chief to uphold the ethics of chieftaincy and wished him well in his new office. The enskinment and outdooring ceremonies were attended by traditional leaders, elders, and community members, who gathered to celebrate the new sub chief’s enskiment.
With this development, Kabonyangbitowura Adam Dange joins the league of chiefs, and his experience and knowledge will undoubtedly enrich the traditional council’s decision-making processes.
