As part of the commemoration of his 15th year on the throne of the Buipe skin, HRM Buipewura Abdulai Jinapor II, who also serves as the President of the Buipe traditional area and Vice President of the Savannah Regional House Chiefs, celebrated his anniversary by recognizing the exceptional contributions of educators in the Buipe District.
Presenting the awards on Saturday, 17th October, 2023 during the climax of his 2023 Damba festival, he bestowed awards upon three outstanding teachers who had displayed unwavering dedication and commitment to their profession in the District.
The awards ceremony featured three distinct categories, each representing a different educational level.
The Best Primary School Teacher title was bestowed upon Mr. Awuni Neeb of Ansurudeen E/A Primary School, while the Best Junior High School Teacher award was presented to Samulpo Wahab of Buipe SDA JHS ‘B’ and Azumah Osman of Buipe SHS was recognized as the Best Senior High School Teacher.
These remarkable educators were not only honored for their tireless efforts but were also rewarded with valuable prizes.
Mr. Awuni Neeb received a brand new LCD TV, Samulpo Wahab was presented with a refrigerator and Azumah Osman was the proud recipient of a brand new motorbike.

The savannah regional director of education was present in person with the company of the west Gonja Municipal director of Education to witness the awards ceremony.
