Kanyiti Saburu Kantama, widely known as Alhaji NABCO, has officially announced his intention to contest for the position of Savannah Regional Communications Officer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
In a press release copied to this source on Monday, 13th October, 2025, Alhaji NABCO described his decision as a response to overwhelming grassroots support and deep consultations with key party figures across the region. He emphasized that his candidacy is driven by a deep-rooted commitment to the ideals of the Danquah-Dombo-Busia tradition, and a vision to make the Savannah Region a stronghold of NPP excellence.
“I present myself not merely as a candidate but as a dedicated servant leader… driven by an unwavering passion to see our party triumph,” he declared.
Alhaji NABCO brings to the table a rich blend of party loyalty, field experience, and professional acumen. His political journey began as TESCON Communications Officer at the University of Education Winneba (UEW), where he honed skills in political messaging and youth engagement.
He later served as GOTV Regional Coordinator during the 2024 elections, playing a key role in mobilizing voter turnout. He is currently an active member of the communications team in the Damongo Constituency and the Savannah Region, where he has been instrumental in strategic messaging and media engagement.
“I have been on the front lines, shaping our narrative and countering opposition propaganda,” he noted.
Beyond politics, Alhaji NABCO is a certified graphic designer, a skillset he believes is critical in today’s visually-driven media landscape. He is also pursuing an MPhil in Project Management and Community Development, equipping him with the tools to run a modern, results-oriented communications directorate.
With a focus on empowerment, discipline, and unity, Alhaji NABCO outlined a comprehensive vision for the regional communications office:
