The Mp for Damongo and Minister for lands and natural resources, Lawyer Samuel Abu Jinapor on Sunday, 14th May, 2023 commissioned a fully furnished newly built community center for the people of Damongo.
The construction of the facility is in fulfilment of the MP’s promise to the youth in Damongo prior to the 2020 elections and demonstrates his commitment to fostering a sense of togetherness and cooperation among the people of Damongo.
According to the Damongo lawmaker, the commissioning of the community centre adds up to a number of initiatives and interventions undertaken in line with his campaign promises aimed at improving and addressing the needs and concerns of the people he represent.
He also indicated that, he has prioritized the well-being of his constituents especially in the areas of women empowerment, support for farmers, education among others and therefore urged them the people to re-elect him with a resounding endorsement based on his track record and the quality of his work as Mp.
Hon. Jinapor also used the event to appealed to his constituents to refrain from using divisive rhetoric or tactics that may create unnecessary tension or animosity among constituents. Rather, they should work towards promoting unity and collaboration within their communities irrespective of their tribe or political affiliation which can lead to greater progress and prosperity for everyone in the constituency.
He also assured the people of his readiness to continue to work in their interest to more positive development and job opportunities to the unemployed youth in the constituency.
Meanwhile, the Damongo community is expected to serve as a hub for collaboration, cultural exchange, and for personal growth to building a strong and inclusive community.
