The St. Anne’s catholic hospital in the west Gonja municipality of the savannah region and two others has been adjudged best performing hospitals in the savannah region.
This was revealed at the 2022 annual performance review meeting of the savannah regional health Directorate held in Damongo when the hospitals were honoured with awards.
The St. Anne’s Catholic came 3rd after the Bole and Central Gonja District hospitals who attained same scores to become 1st and Second respectively with sawla-Tuna-Kalba being 4th followed by Salaga District hospital which came 5th in the rankings.
The St. Anne’s Catholic Hospital being recognized as the 3rd best performing hospital in the region is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the hospital’s staff and management and must be doing an excellent job in providing quality healthcare services to the people of the Savannah region.
It’s important to note that hospital rankings and performance measures can vary based on different criteria and methodologies used to assess them.
However, achieving a high ranking is generally a positive sign that a hospital is meeting or exceeding certain standards of care and meeting their health indicator outcomes.
The hospital was recently renamed from it’s previous name, West Gonja hospital to the current St. Anne’s Catholic hospital and located in the savannah regional capital, Damongo.
