The Savannah regional women organizer of the National Democratic congress, Hajia Afisha Bawa Doshie has expressed worry over the shortage of infant vaccines in the country and described the situation as unfortunate.
Hajia Afisha said this in a statement signed and copied to this source. Read below how Hajia Afisha described the situation.
SHORTAGE OF INFANTS VACCINES ACCROSS THE COUNTRY IS UNFORTUNATE.
The shortage of infants vacs. unfortunate and the president and his people must bow their heads to shame. President Akufo Addo promised Ghanaians heaven and earth, but unfortunately common vaccinations for children couldn’t be afforded.
So much waste of money on unnecessary things into the country while more important things that will benefit the whole country are left un attended to.
Several Regions most especially the Northern sector have run short of vaccines for measles and you waste huge sum of money to organise independent day parade. Ghana us 66 years now and you can’t even boasts of common vaccinations to save children’s lives. It’s indeed unfortunate Mr President.
Our children’s lives are in danger and as mothers we caution you to do the needful as soon as possible to save our innocent children’s lives.
Presidency is not fanfare and lies Mr president, for if the fundamentals of the economy is weak, vaccinations will expose you.
Signed
Hajia Afisha Bawa Doshie
SAVANNAH REGIONAL WOMEN ORGANIZER.
