SAVANNAH REGION NPP SECRETARY, MOHAMMED ISSAH INTERACTS WITH PARTY IN DABOYA-MANKARIGU CONSTITUENCY
In the company of the Constituency Chairman for Daboya-Mankarigu and other Executives, I attended on behalf of our able Regional Chairman and Executives, the 3-day adua of the late wife of the overlord of the Wasipe traditional area, Wasipewura Mumuni Anyame Kabasagya II, and toured, interacted with Polling Station Executives, Electoral Area Cordinators, Council of elders and Patrons, and party faithfuls at the base of our party in the Mankargu, Yagbon, and Lukula, electoral areas on Friday, September 23, 2022.
Despite the torrential rains and the difficulty in accessing the overseas of this area, I toured with other party Executives, which afforded me the opportunity to appreciate more the stellar contribution of the party officers at the grassroots.
All participants were thanked for their immeasurable exploits which culminated to wining the parliamentary seat for the NPP in the 2020 general elections. Some influential persons were equally visited to appreciate their contributions to our party in these areas.
I also reminded them that they are the kingmakers and the foundation of the party and as such, they must dutifully be enjoined to the welfare of the party.
I strongly maintained that they remain at the core of the party in the Constituency and assured that officers at the top echelon of the party would do everything practicable to ensure that the problems of socio-economic and other factors militating against them at the grassroots would be solved to aid them in the discharge of their duties to help accomplish our target of wining the 2024 election.
I urged them to work in tandem with the party structures and be ready to avail themselves at all times for the forward match of the party.
I further appealed to them to exercise restraints as the party at both the Constituency, Regional and National level take steps to address pertinent issues confronting them.
I also took turn to address Polling Station Executives and party faithfuls, where i espoused that the strength of the party depends on the grassroots.
I assured them of the party’s continuous support to enable them canvas votes for the visionary NPP party to break the 8 come 2024. I persuaded them to continue to hoist and harp on the achievements of the incumbent government to attract floating voters.
I pointed out that the NPP government has performed abundantly in every sector of the economy adding that the all the achievements of the party would be in vain if the government of the day is unable to maintain power come 2024.
I warned that the full rigors of the law would exert on anybody who would flout the rules and regulations of the NPP and it’s Constitution.
I also assured them that the party in the region would do everything possible that should be done to motivate them to enable them to give their utmost best to maintain the Daboya-Mankarigu seat in Ghana’s Parliament.
In turns, the polling station executives praised me for my rare decision to interact with them and promised to put to use, what i have implored them to do as grassroots officers of the party. They also pledged to contribute their quota to help the party to maintain power beyond 2024.
