The West Gonja Municipal Chief executive, Hon. Musah Karim Kusubari has handed over two project sites and work documents to contractors for work to commence for the construction of health and educational facilities in the West Gonja municipality.
The two projects include, the construction of a CHPs compound at Kidendelepa, a farming community around Busunu in the West Gonja Municipality and a three unit TVET school block at Damongo.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Musah Karim Kusubari in handing over the work documents and sites to the two constractors for work to begin for the two projects said, health and education were key to the people in the Municipality and it was important for the Member of parliament and the Assembly to execute such facilities so as to enhance the wellbeing of the people.
At Kidendelepa, the MCE explained that, prior to the 2020 general elections, three key things were put before he and Lawyer Abu Jinapor which included, a school, health facility and the poor nature of the road network out which the school is completed and work about to commence on the health facility.
He appealed to them to continue to have patience with the NPP government and continue to pray for the Member of parliament for the area, Hon. lawyer Abu Jinapor as he continuous to works towards bringing development to the area.
He urged the beneficiary community members to see the project as their own and give the contractor at site, the needed support in other to speed up work on the project.
The Assemblyman for the Busunu electoral area, Hon. Thomas Dari on behalf of the kidendelepa people thanked the Mp and the municipal chief executive for their initiative to bring health care delivery closer to the kidendelepa people.
He explained that, the people from that area go through a lot in accessing health care services hence, the need for such a facility will go a long way to solve the health problems of kidendelepa and it’s adjoining communities when completed
