One of the Kananto bee stung victims has been re-admitted at the St. Anne’s Catholic hospital in Damongo.
Reports available to this source says, the victims condition was progressively worsening and was rushed back to the St. Anne’s hospital to seek further medical attention.
The Assembly member for the Apelso electoral area who doubles as the presiding member for the West Gonja Municipal Assembly, Hon. Mohammed Mumuni who confirmed the readmission of the victim said, the victim was rushed back to the hospital on the 14th of July, 2022 after it was realized that the boy’s condition was deteriorating.
He however explained that, the victim is still receiving treatment at the hospital but in a stable condition as reported by medical officers at the facility.
On Thursday, 30th June, 2022, a swarm of stinging bees invaded a primary school at Kananto, a community around Larabanga in the West Gonja municipality of the savannah Region stinging school children numbering 13 leaving one in a critical condition.
