The member of parliament for the Damongo constituency and minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Samuel Abu Jinapor has on Sunday September, 5, 2021 supported four graduate Seamstresses with sewing Machines at Damongo in the West Gonja municipality of the savannah Region during a graduation (passing out ceremony) organized by the Seamstresses/Tailors Association.
A delegation of the Damongo constituency chairman for the New patriotic party ( Alhaji Adam Braimah ), the constituency secretary ( Mr Musah kusubari), the coordinator at the office of the mp ( Mr. Bawa Fuseini) and others handed over the four (4) brand new sewing machines with four (4) different envelops with undisclosed amount of cash to the graduants on behalf of the Hon. Lawyer Abu Jinapor.
In an address Mr musah Kusubari commended the graduants for the patience exhibited during their apprenticeship which lasted for three (3) years.
He further urged the graduants to emulate their madams by exhibiting professionalism in the skills acquired for the benefit of their association and for their own livelihoods.
He explained that, the MP is ready to support all graduants who may be due for passing out in the constituency.
The constituency Chairman in a Short remarks indicated that politics is not about enemity but for the purpose of the development of the entire constituency and Ghana as a country.
He appealed for unity amongst all political parties and supporters in the constituency for it is through unity that we can achieve our goals as a people.
The member of parliament, Hon. Abu Jinapor before his election into office, has been supporting both hairdressers and Seamstresses in the constituency
