A fulani herdsman is allegedly reported to have cutlassed Moro Abass, a 23yr old farmer in the Canteen electoral area of the West Gonja municipality.
According to reports available to Padfm.com.gh, the sad incident happened on Monday, 27th March, 2023 when the Fulani herdsman attacked Moro Abass with a cutlass having been provoked by the victim’s confrontations on why he allowed his cattle to invade his farm.
Confirming the sad incident to this source, the Assemblyman for the Canteen electoral area disclosed that, the Fulani herdsman who fled after the act has sinced been identified and summoned before the Traditional authorities in Damongo and later handed over to the Police in Damongo for further investigations.
Meanwhile the victim, Moro Abass is currently receiving treatment at the St. Anne’s Catholic Hospital in Damongo.
