Ghana senior men’s national team, the Black Stars will come up against Niger, Angola and Sudan in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
This means ex-Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah will face off against Ghana as he leads Sudan national team.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced the group qualifying matches for next year’s edition of the continent’s flagship competition after a draw held in Johannesburg, South Africa on Thursday, July 4, 2024.
In all, 12 groups consisting of four teams each will be competing against one another on home and away basis with the top two sides set to qualify to AFCON 2025 in Morocco.
The qualifying matches are set to begin in August/September
