As this years BECE candidates prepare to sit for their final examinations beginning 17th October, 2022, the honourable member of Parliament for Damongo and Minister for lands and natural resources, Lawyer Samuel Abu Jinapor being so passionate about the education of children in the savannah region has supported some 2,084 final year BECE candidates from some MDAs in the region including North Gonja, East Gonja, North East Gonja and the Sawla -Tuna – Kalba Districts with mathematical sets.
The Lawmaker and Minister for lands and natural resources extended the support, having supported candidates in the West Gonja municipality in order to resource them ahead of their BECE examinations.
A total of 2,084 Mathematical sets were distributed to the various Districts as per the figures below;
North Gonja – 117 mathematical sets
Sawla – Tuna – Kalba – 625 mathematical sets
North East Gonja – 346 mathematical sets
East Gonja Municipal – 996 mathematical sets
