The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Damongo constituency of the savannah region has on Saturday, 8th October, 2024, inaugurated it’s youth Wing at Laribanga to support in galvanising votes to enable the party break the eight years power chain in the coming 2024 general elections.
Before performing the inaugural ceremony, the member of parliament for the Damongo constituency and Minister for Lands and Natural resources, Lawyer Samuel Abu Jinapor charged the youth wing to embark on vigorous activities the will enable the party break the eight years power chain come 2024.
He added that, the NPP in the Damongo constituency is marshalling forces and working to entrench the elephant in the constituency to make sure that the seat becomes a safer seat for the New Patriotic party forever and to also make sure that the constituency becomes like the Bimbila and winneba seats which have been captured by the NPP for some years now.
The Damongo Lawmaker expressed his readiness to offer the party any form of leadership to enable the party win the 2024 general elections, explaining that the NPP in the savannah region under the able leadership of it’s regional chairman, Prof Kalamonia will fight for every single vote in the region and urged the youth to be dedicated and committed to their duty by doubling their efforts to ensure the party to breaks the eight.
The Youth Organiser of the new patriotic party in the Damongo constituency, Mr. Yakubu Yussif in his turn entreated all party members particularly the youth to bury their differences and work in unity and in the interest of the party by ensuring that the party breaks the eight years jinx of political power in the Ghanaian politics come 2024.
He charged the constituency executives and the entire leadership of the party to team up with the constituency youth wing to work harder to retain the party’s member of parliament to continue with his good works for the constituency.
He maintained that, the good works of the NPP government and the works of member of parliament are evidential and clear for everyone to see and was grateful to the Nana Addo lead government.
Mr. Yussif expressed his gratitude to the Member of parliament, Hon. Abu Jinapor for the support extended to him and the youth wing in ensuring that the inaugural ceremony was successful.
Members of the constituency Youth wing were drawn from hardworking patriots who will lead various committees of the wing to ensure that all youths are brought onboard to join the party’s agenda of breaking the eight.
The ceremony was graced by the Member of parliament for Damongo, Hon. Abu Jinapor, the MCE for west Gonja, Hon. Musah Karim Kusubari, the NPP regional chairman, Alhaji Iddrisu Sulemana Kalamonia, the regional youth Organizer, Mahama Akati Raphael and some constituency and Regional executives of the New patriotic party.
