The Savannah Regional Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party, Alhaji Iddrisu Sulemana Professor Kalamonia in the company of the Regional Communications Director and the Daboya/Mankarigu Constituency executives paid a visit to the deceased families of the Offinso-Abofour accident victims on Sunday 7th November 2021.
The delegation first called on the Chief and people of the Tenbeng community where the highest number of the deceased hailed from.
Professor Kalamonia in his speech commiserated with the community and the families of the deceased and injured victims.
He prayed for Allah’s mercies and grace to relieve all the affected persons and their families of pain and anguish.
Professor Kalamonia presented an undisclosed amount of money to each of the deceased families and asked that they get him informed anytime they are ready to perform the funerals.
The Chief of the community expressed his appreciation to Professor Kalamonia and recounted how helpful the MP, Hon. Alhaji Asei Seini and the DCE for North Gonja, Hon. Adam Eliasu Red-Bawa have been to the family since they got wind of the unfortunate information.
The team rounded up the visit at Somun, Tari No. 2, and Singa which recorded five, four, and two deaths respectively as a result of the unfortunate incident.
Professor Kalamonia and the rest of the team wished the injured ones speedy recovery and may Allah grant the deceased eternal rest.
