In a bid to enhance security and address the inadequate lighting in Larabanga Township, Samuel Abu Jinapor, the Honorable Member of Parliament for Damongo, has initiated the installation of 200 LED street lights across the larabanga community.
This proactive move follows the MP’s commitment to improving the overall lighting situation in key areas of the Larabanga community.
The decision to install these lights was prompted during the MP’s recent visit to Larabanga on Sunday, January, 21st night, where he discovered the entire town plunged into darkness due to poor lightening.
Determined to fulfill his promise to the community, Abu Jinapor swiftly took action to brighten up Larabanga 200 LED street lights.
The ongoing installation of the LED street lights is part of a broader initiative by the Damongo MP, targeting improved lighting not only in Larabanga but across the entire Damongo constituency.
The Damongo constituency Secretary of the NPP, Mr. Kadiri Abdul Rahman clarified that this undertaking by the MP aims to illuminate various areas in the constituency, prioritizing enhanced security and overall community well-being.
Residents of Larabanga have expressed gratitude and admiration for Abu Jinapor’s timely intervention and urged him to persist in his commendable efforts.
The installation of the street lights is seen as a significant step towards fostering a safer and brighter environment for Larabanga and the broader Damongo constituency.
