Hon. Musah Karim Kusubari, the Municipal Chief Executive of West Gonja on Friday, 17th of November, 2023 officially handed over the responsibility of addressing the long-standing Ngbaripe (Almanara) aged erosion gutter to Ashcal Construction Company Ltd to commence work.

Hon. musah Kusubari

During the handover ceremony, Hon. Musah Karim Kusubari emphasized the collaborative effort between the West Gonja Municipal Assembly and the Member of Parliament’s office to alleviate the concerns of residents living near the century-old erosion gutter, expressing the aim to provide relief and ensure the safety of lives and properties.

The West Gonja MCE highlighted that the project, designed in a drainage form, aims to offer a permanent solution to the issues posed by the aged erosion gutter.

He also assured the residents that upon completion, residents who previously lived in fear of their homes collapsing due to the erosion would now enjoy peace of mind and carry out their daily activities without such concerns.

The contractor, in response, reassured residents that the project is in capable hands, promising to conduct thorough due diligence to ensure the implementation of a high-quality and lasting solution.
