The Member of Parliament for the Damongo constituency and the minister of Lands and Natural Resources Lawyer Samuel Abu Jinapor has acquired a brand new water tanker to constantly supply water to the people of Damongo and it’s surrounding communities. The move is to argument the works of the earlier two water tankers hired by the law maker to always fill the existing poly tanks situated at vantage points in all the areas in the Damongo township and some communities.
It will be recall that Lawyer Samuel Abu Jinapor upon his assumption of office as the MP for the Damongo constituency in realising the difficulties people go through in securing water for domestic use in the dry season, took a huge step in providing rambo 10000 polytank as a stop gap measure to the water challenges in the Damongo constituency.
Lawyer Abu Jinapor is making stringent efforts to nip in the bud the water challenges that has be devilled the people of Damongo over decades now.
In view of this the law maker has facilitated the construction of a small water project for the provision of portable water to the people Damongo from Broto community through the Ghana Water Company.
Snipers of information has it that the contractor working on the Damongo water project has mounted some treatment plants at the project site pending the commencement of work in full force within some few days.
The Mp has admonished all the actors involved in the polytank water service to desist from taking money from people before serving them the water because the water is purely free.
