The National Sports Authority (NSA) and Savannah Regional Coordinating Council (SRCC) have sent out heart felt wishes to the three teams representing the Savannah region in this year’s Northern Region Football Association’s Division Two Middle League.
The middle league matches are expected to kick off on Friday, June 9, 2023, in Tamale at NOBISCO and UTRECHT fields.
Mole Nationals fc, Yapei and Buipe Scorpion fc will take part in the competition that starts on 9th June, 2023.
In a statement signed by the Regional Sports Director, Mr. Ibrahim Jihad, it states “It is with with keen interest we have followed your exceptional performances in the Division Two League and we appreciate your effort for putting the regional football on a high pedestal.
As you play your middle league from Friday 9th to Sunday 11th June, 2023 that will qualify you to Division One, I wish to encourage and urge you to set no boundaries but to keep on with the spirit of victory.
Please be assured that the whole Savannah region is behind you and we believe you have the arsenal to beat your opponents to elevate you to the Ghana Division One League.
May the good Lord be with you and grant you the strength to triumph”.
