The Berekum Circuit Court in Berekum has granted bail to the 31-year-old defender who was arrested for crushing a police officer to death.
Aduana Stars defender Farouk Adams has been granted bail of GHc60,000 with four sureties after reappearing in the Berekum based Circuit Court on Thursday afternoon. The stalwart centre-back was remanded for two weeks by his Lordship Osei Kofi Amoako earlier this month on the incident which happened on March 1 between Asuotiano and Asuhyiae in the Dormaa East District of the Bono Region, according to kickgh.com
The former Black Stars ‘B’ guardsman has been charged on two counts – careless and inconsiderate driving and negligently causing harm. The incident described to be a hit-and-run by a Red Toyota Camry with registration number GW 5882-17, driven by Farouk Adams claimed the life of Constable Amos Mattey of the Wamfie Police station
