The Vice President of the Savannah Regional House of Chiefs ( SRHC ) and Paramount Chief for Buipe, HRM Buipewura Abdulai Jinapor II will today Tuesday, 21st February 2023 lead a high powered delegation of Gonjaland chiefs to the seat of government to officially announce the demise of late Yagbonwura Prof. Tuntumba Bore-Essa I to the President of the Republic, H. E Nana Adddo Dankwa Akuffo Addo.
The sad event occurred on Sunday, 5th February, 2023 at the Damongo at the Jakpa palace.
The delegation will feature the Chairman for the funeral planning committee, Mankpanwura Jakpa Achor-Ade Borenyi ( I), Paramount chiefs and Queen mothers from the Gonja Kingdom, Councilors and Youth Reps among others.
The briefing or announcement is expected to be done in accordance with the customs and tradition of the Gonja people
