NGO, AEDIRG-GH supports Larabanga health center with health equipment

A Non Governmental and Not for profit making organization based in Larabanga in the West Gonja municipality of the Savannah region, Ansung Education and Development in Rural Ghana (AEDIRG-GH) with it’s foreign partners, supported Larabanga health center with some health equipment to help improve health delivery services in and around the community, on Thursday, November 25, 2021.

The items presented to the health center include Ultrasound Machine, 40-litter Oxygen Cylinder with it’s accessories, two (2) Doppler machines, and others to help the center deliver excellent health care services to the people of the area.

The Sustainable Development Goal three seeks to offer Good Health and Well-being for all, irrespective of their location and status. As such, AEDIRG-GH, as part of it’s aim is helping to expand health care delivery in the area with this presentation.

The Chief Executive Officer of aedirg-gh, Mr. Fatawu Abubakari urged the community members to make good use of the health facility by visiting each time they or relatives are sick. He also entreated the health workers to take proper care of the medical items given to the health center to ensure quality health delivery.

Mr. Fatawu Abubakari thanked the elders and people of Larabanga, the health workers, social welfare (WGM) and the foreign partners of Aedirg-gh.

The In Charge of Larabanga health center, Mr. Abukari Abudu expressed their profound gratitude to Aedirg-gh and its foreign partners. He promised the medical items donated will be put into good use.

Mr. Abukari Abudu appealed to Aedirg-gh and it’s partners not to relent in their effort to ensure quality health care delivery in Larabanga. He said the health center will need more of such donations to help realize the delivery of quality health care for all, therefore, appealed to corporate Ghana, NGOs, CSOs and philanthropists to assist the health center.

About the Organization

Ansung Education and Development in Rural Ghana (AEDIRG-GH)
is a Non Governmental and Non profit making organization based in Larabanga in the West Gonja municipality of the Savannah Region of Ghana.

AEDIRG-GH aims at improving the level of education in rural areas and health, encouraging international and local volunteering, Child sponsorship through foster parenting, environmental protection through tree planting, Water and sanitation, and youth sensitization in the rural areas.

AEDIRG as part of its responsibilities, the mission of AEDIRG-GH is to Improve the level of education in rural areas, this is done through the organization of seminars and workshops for the teachers in the rural areas also support the children with books and other materials that may be necessary.

Mission

In Ghana, most especially the deprived communities in Northern Ghana, are people who live and work without being able to improve their standard of living. Most of the people living in these areas are peasant farmers and petty traders with minimal or no education at all, therefore cannot secure any significant well paying job.
