The MCE nominee for the east Gonja municipal Assembly, Hon. Richard Broni has held his Maiden meeting with the Constituency Executive Committee of the New patriotic party in Salaga, the capital of the East Gonja Municipal Assembly in the Savannah region on Saturday 13th November, 2021.
The MCE nominee, Hon Richard Broni in a brief remark explained that the purpose of meeting with them first, was for him to officially Announce to them of his nomination as Municipal chief executive for the area and to also introduce himself to them formally.
He continued by expressing his full readiness to work with the party’s structures and principles and in the interest of the people in the Municipality.
The MCE nominee disclosed that 22nd November 2021 and 23rd November 2021 are the dates proposed by Regional coordinating council for his Confirmation which will be held at the East Gonja Municipal Assembly Hall.
The Executives on their side has assured the new MCE nominee of their unflinching support to enable him succeed as the general overseer of the Municipality but pleaded with the nominee to ensure that due processes of the party structures are followed tactically and professionally to avoid obstacles after he is confirmed.
The Executives officially congratulated the MCE nominee on his nomination and wished him well in his new endeavour.
Hon. Richard Broni was nominated by the President of the Republic, H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on 11th November, 2021 to replace Hon. Mohammed Tamimu who was rejected by Assembly members of the Assembly in two confirmation attempts
