Earlier on 5th May 2021, the Municipal Chief Executive together with the Kpembe Traditional Council, under the able leadership of His Royal Highness, Koembewura Banbang3 Ndefuso IV, held an interactive meeting with stakeholders to gather their inputs on how to END the illegal logging and Commercial charcoal burning in the Municipality.
After a powerful address by his Royal Highness, Kpembewura Banbang3 Ndefuso IV as well as the remarks from Hon. MCE, Tamimu, there was an open forum, where discussions took place and then later questions and answers section followed.
Actionable points were developed and all the stakeholders made a commitment to the effective implementation of the agreed steps in order to end menace for the betterment of all and sundry.
His Royal Highness, inaugurated a TASK FORCE against illegal logging and commercial charcoal burning, which is being chaired by Hon. Mohammed Tamimu (MCE).
